First of all I love this song. It’s very simple yet it is very appealing to my ears. The lyrics of the song just keeps repeating over and over saying “I got a feeling, that tonight’s gonna be a good night” and yet have no problem of listening it coz it reminds me of the days were me and my friends just dancing all night and don’t give a damn about what’s gonna happen tomorrow. It sure feels me good.

The first time I heard this song, I thought this is another song that came from Europe coz of the style of the music sounds like. So what I did was I Googled it and found out surprisingly that Black Eye Peas is the artist. The video is so cool that I have watched it over and over. I was just overwhelmed how the music, the lyrics and the video just synced together so perfectly.

Wouldn’t it be nice if someone special dedicate his life just for you? That would definitely feel like the sweetest thing a person would do, right? Listening to this song makes you feel relax and sing along. I love it when I hear this song every morning.

Melt with you was a single by the British new wave band Modern English from their album After the Snow. Just so you know this song was used on commercials like on M&M’s, Taco Bell and Burger King. There is also a bunch of artist that covers this song like Jason Mraz. Enjoy.

I love this song. Simply because it made me realize that money or fame is not key to happiness. Happiness is what you have with your real friends and love ones. This song reminds us that a man who will sacrifice everything to achieve his goal for fame & money will just end up alone, in sorrow and most of all with regret.

High and dry is a song by the band Radiohead and is one of the band's popular hits. It was released on February 1995. It was their second release track in their album “The Bends”.

As we all know blink 182 broke up last February 2005 due to conflict in their priorities. Tom DeLonge (guitars) quit the band because he wants to spend more time to his family which by the way he hasn’t done due to their bands great success and hype. Like other broken bands, theirs wasn’t sweet. They were exchanging bad words to each other. Tom and Mark (bassist) were friends for a decade plus.

The good news is that Tom, Mark and Travis (the freakin’ drummer) have been talking lately and letting their past arguments and misunderstanding put behind. They haven’t been talking for 4 years since their break-up. I just hope that they would reunite once again on the stage.

This video was made by Ayvayshun and is dedicated for the band blink 182. What I like in this video is the drama in it. Ayvayshun had done a great job compiling this video. The title of the song by the way is “the best years of our lives” by black list club.

Hey guys its 2009! And what is more beautiful to start the year than is to have a positive attitude, don’t you agree? And since this would be my first post of the year, I thought the song “Beautiful day” by U2 would be the perfect fit. It is like destine (lol). Well if you don’t agree with me, your opinions are always welcome.

Beautiful day by U2 is a song about trials, misfits, suffering, name all the bad times in life(sounds bad right) and then there is optimism. Optimism is one thing in life that gave us a positive attitude to surpass all the trials in life. Like what in the lyrics says ”After the flood, all the colors came out”.

What I love in this video is the crowd. They were jumping and singing for the song simply because it’s beautiful. Not to mention U2 led by Bono have done a nice job jamming with them.

Just in case you don’t know anything about the band which I doubt, U2 is an Irish rock band that was formed in 1976. So practically, the band is 33years old (if my math is right) and still rockin’ our world today. They are considered one of the greats according to Rolling Stone.

The All-American Rejects is one of today’s mainstream rock bands. With their catchy music pop punk rock style, people especially teenagers wont be hard to love them. I just love watching them on their music videos. Speaking of music videos, I just watched them on youtube where they played Britney Spears’s “Womanizer” in acoustic (yeah! Womanizer for real). I was like “what?” It’s very funny though. I have to admit that their version is quite better than the original version. But don’t take my word for it. Just watch it and you’d know what I mean. Well for those who don’t, he is from the paradise of Hawaii. His music is simple yet great. That’s the reason why I love him. He’s not one of those very sophisticated music artists with all those gadgets and everything. He reminds me of the old days where me and my friends used to gather around and play guitar and just having fun. If you hear the name of Tracy Chapman, would you recognize the name or what’s the first thing that pops in you mind? Well if you don’t have any clue of her then I would definitely feel sorry for you. This woman is one of the most talented musicians I know. She’s one of the most gifted songwriters around and the way she puts the right melody of her songs is just astounding.

When listening to her music it makes you feel captivated. It’s like meeting a stranger yet you felt you’ve known him/her for a long time or eating a cookie and once you tasted it, it becomes your favorite cookie. She is that good. Her music lets you reveal your emotional side. For me, her voice is adorable and I think is her most important asset aside of her folk guitar simply because her voice represents every men and women in the world. You can definitely relate to her songs.

Check this out. This is the smallest guitar I’ve ever seen. My friend named Tita Gia bought this one when she was in Cebu. Cebu is one of the most progressive cities in the Philippines. Tita Gia gave this small and cute guitar to me as a souvenir. This is made of wood which has 4 strings, and only two inches height.

World Aids Day 2008

What I s World Aids Day? This is a day of understanding about sex, protection, red ribbon, HIV and AIDS. A day where we would be remind again on the reality we are facing.

We should be responsible in our actions to ourselves and to anyone especially in making love by simply wearing a condom for preventing us to get infected by HIV virus. If we want to make our world a better place, being responsible is a start.

Just so you know this year 2008 is the 20th anniversary of World Aids Day.

The first time I heard this song, I feel relaxed and captivated because of its wonderful tone of melody. The music makes me remember of all the good old times in my life. Eventually my curiosity arises, asking myself who sang the song and what is the title. The title of the song is “Have a nice day” by Stereophonics.

This song is all about a taxi driver in San Francisco where Kelly Jones(Stereophonics vocalist) ride with him once, telling Jones about what he doesn’t like about San Francisco, Tourist and his boring so-called life.

For me the lyric of the song is not about what I expected. I thought it’s about love or something inspiring when I listen to it at first. Unfortunately in my own opinion it’s not about it, though for some it has different meaning. But still the music is great despite of everything.

Are you familiar with the rock band Toto? Toto is one of the most successful rock bands during the early 80’s having grabbed with lots of hit singles. Well, how about Andy Mckee? Are you familiar with his name? If not, Mckee is one of the great artists who have been known a soloist and a freaking guitarist today. Since before and even until now, when you were to get labeled as a soloist most of the attentions will probably turn to you. That would probably the rule.

I have to admit when I first saw one of his videos on Youtube I began to admire him for his wonderful talent as a musician and his passion for music. His style of music is so relaxing and warm that it makes me want to watch some of his videos more.

Do you know about Mirror’s Edge? Well it’s the much anticipated game of the year and was just released recently. The game is very unique. It’s not a casual game you’ve played before. It is a first person adventure video game with parkour free runner style. You will be playing it like your jumping every corners over sky crapper buildings.

I think one of the reasons why it’s living up to its expectation it's because of the theme song of the game which is “still alive” by Lisa Miskovsky. And five remixes of the song by Benny Benassi, Junkie XL, Paul van Dyk, Teddybears and Armand Van Helden. Now that’s a lot of artists making remixes for just a song. I won’t blame them. The theme song is indeed appealing to anyone who listens to it.

Guns n’ Roses – Who wouldn’t know them? With millions of record sold and tons of controversies, they were practically one of the most influential rock bands in the late 80’s. Gorillaz – Feel good? This is a virtual band created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s imagination. Just so you know Damon Albarn was the vocalist of a famous Britpop genre band name Blur. With their catchy looks alone, anyone who laid their eyes of 2D, noodle, Murdoc, and Russel will surely be an instant fan.

To all lifehouse fans out there, this video is a must see. Ashley will stop your world as she sings 2 singles of the band lifehouse namely “somewhere in between” and “take me away”. This is definitely the best version of the songs that I have seen. Her voice and style so is unique and beautiful that you wont notice your drooling.
