for blink 182

As we all know blink 182 broke up last February 2005 due to conflict in their priorities. Tom DeLonge (guitars) quit the band because he wants to spend more time to his family which by the way he hasn’t done due to their bands great success and hype. Like other broken bands, theirs wasn’t sweet. They were exchanging bad words to each other. Tom and Mark (bassist) were friends for a decade plus.

The good news is that Tom, Mark and Travis (the freakin’ drummer) have been talking lately and letting their past arguments and misunderstanding put behind. They haven’t been talking for 4 years since their break-up. I just hope that they would reunite once again on the stage.

This video was made by Ayvayshun and is dedicated for the band blink 182. What I like in this video is the drama in it. Ayvayshun had done a great job compiling this video. The title of the song by the way is “the best years of our lives” by black list club.

Tracy Chapman

If you hear the name of Tracy Chapman, would you recognize the name or what’s the first thing that pops in you mind? Well if you don’t have any clue of her then I would definitely feel sorry for you. This woman is one of the most talented musicians I know. She’s one of the most gifted songwriters around and the way she puts the right melody of her songs is just astounding. When listening to her music it makes you feel captivated. It’s like meeting a stranger yet you felt you’ve known him/her for a long time or eating a cookie and once you tasted it, it becomes your favorite cookie. She is that good. Her music lets you reveal your emotional side. For me, her voice is adorable and I think is her most important asset aside of her folk guitar simply because her voice represents every men and women in the world.
